Black Rose

The Black Rose website is a gothic and alternative clothing online store.

Back in 2012, this old website was still running on a custom ecommerce platform that was not coping very well with the thousands of products the business had grown to sell. What the client needed was an easy-to-use CMS to maintain his shop, take orders etc...

I chose to use OpenCart for various reasons:

• User-friendly admin interface.
• Open source and free.
• Easily extendable.

In 2015, the site went through a redesign to become responsive and mobile-friendly, as well as a major OpenCart's version upgrade.
